Below are listed the club fees for the 2010 Highlands
Junior Olympic Volleyball Club and what the club will provide in return.
18’s,
17’s, 16’s - $375
· USA Volleyball Registration
– Keystone Region ($40 per individual player)
· Registration
expenses for the coach of the team ($70 per coach)
· Two Uniform Tops
($30 per top)
· One Pair of Shorts
($18)
· Tournament
Entries – 5 regular tournaments ($180 per tournament entry) depending on
availability
· Partial Tournament
Entry - Happy Volley Tournament - State College ($200 of $595)
· Medical
Equipment (tape, bandages, icepacks, etc.) ($10 per player)
· Practice Equipment (balls
and facilities) ($15 per player)
· One practice per week for
four months
· Travel stipend
for coach ($500 - $700)**
· Travel stipend
for assistant coach ($250 - $350)**
Dependent upon play, these teams might also compete in the:
- Keystone
Region Championships in Williamsport, PA (Club will pay this entry fee if you
qualify from the concession profits.) Individual players must pay any hotel
accommodations needed.
- There is an additional fee for Happy Volley. This covers the house rental, food for the weekend, and the rest of the entry fee. This fee is usually around $120 per player.
15's - $275

** Highlands Volleyball Club does not pay its coaches.
However, the club does provide a travel stipend to each coach to cover their
expenses for traveling with the team to tournaments, food, tolls, and gas.
Based on gas prices and turnpike fees, the stipend for this season has been set
at $100 per tournament for head coach and $50 per tournament for assistants.)
